Canberra needs a curfew to stop ongoing property crime, graffiti and other anti-social behaviour.
In recent months we have seen the senseless destruction of a vacant home in Kambah and schools in Weston Creek, including ruining kindergarten children's artwork.
Enough is enough.
We need a 10pm parent-imposed curfew for all minors until we can teach them respect for our city and our community.
I was a stupid, thoughtless teenager too once. Don't let your kids go "for a walk" after dark. Make sure you know where they are and teach them about having good values and respect for their community.
We, the City of Canberra, call on all parents to keep their children indoors after 10pm, until they learn and demonstrate respect for our city and our community.
