Reform Manslaughter Sentencing in the UK

Manslaughter sentencing is currently between 3 and 7 years even for the death of a young child. This is not justice to the many people who are killed every year.

I would like the sentencing of manslaughter to be increased to a minimum of ten years even though this will not bring back the people who are killed it will give families some justice.

Manslaughter is one of the most serious crimes that can be committed and yet it holds one of the lowest sentencing brackets currently in this country.
