Taina is my biological granddaughter who is in danger due to a law in Florida that states that if a woman is married, her husband is the lawful father even if he is not the biological father. Taina has been placed with me due to circumstances with the mother and biological father.
It has been proven through multiple home reviews that Taina is now well taken care of and happy here. Yet now, her mother's husband is trying to get custody of Taina despite having no biological ties to her.
We, the undersigned, call on the Orange County Family Court to allow Taina to stay with her biological grandmother and to review the validity of this law in this specific case.
