Mark Lester Richardson was shot dead on 1st December 2005 by [name withheld]. Mark was shot in the back whilst leaving an unoccupied house.
According to police reports, Mark was unarmed, did not possess so much as a pocket knife and, according to police reports, spoke without anger, animosity or even the hint of a threat to [Name withheld] when he was confronted. [Name withheld] has not been charged or arrested - despite admitting the shooting - yet the Washoe District Attorney's Office closed the case on the grounds of insufficient evidence.
