Bridget Ayotte attempted to get help from Child Services as well as Edmonton City Police when her 4 year old daughter disclosed her father was sexually abusing her.
When she was told that she was required to still hand her daughter over for visits because a social worker believed the child had been coached, Bridget breached a Court Order to not leave Alberta and went to Manitoba where she sought help and support from her family.
Once Bridget found out she was wanted and an Amber Alert had been issued she turned herself in. To her horror Harmony was then placed in the care of her father and returned to Edmonton.
We are asking that the charge against Bridget Ayotte be dropped and the investigation be opened into the allegations made against the father of Harmony Ayotte as well as a review take place of the handling of such cases.
