There are plans and funding to "improve" (a big standard GDOT widening and realigning/straightening project) the intersection of Lavista Road at Oak Grove Road.
A relatively simple fix of the signals, timing/phasing, and markings can be done sooner and quicker; less disruptively and impacting the adjacent neighborhood; more in keeping with the original, quaint, unique layout of the streets there; and much less expensively.
Please JUST FIX the traffic and pedestrians signals, and the signal timing/phasing and associated street markings for cars and pedestrians, at the LaVista Road and Oak Grove intersection.
Please do NOT reconstruct the whole intersection (a big, expensive, high-impacts, standard-GDOT-stlye widening and realigning/straightening project).
