I am Janice Covington and I want to be your mayor.
With our city lacking its leader, I feel it is impertinent to put my name in for the running of the leader of our great city.
The Queen City's recent marring by our previous leader has left all of our citizens concerned with the state of the city and its future in the state and country.
I would like to be the beacon that leads this city into the future and restore the city to glory.
I am asking you to consider the state of our city and ask yourself, "What do we need to restore the people's faith in our city and our leaders?"
"Was enough done to have prevented this from happening in the first place?"
"What can be done to prevent this from happening again?"
I have been a business leader in this community for many years and know how to make tough decisions. I have also been an activist, leader in the fight for equality and catalyst for change in this wonderful city of ours.
I would like to be your champion of justice and your leader and I wish to restore the glory and honor of what it means to be from Charlotte, NC.
