IT'S TIME TO MAKE APPLYING FOR GOVERNMENT BENEFITS SIMPLER AND QUICKER. (Why need an attorney for a simple application?)
The average person applying for Social Security Disability Insurance will be denied and wait an average of two years to collect any benefit payments without an attorney.
Many Americans are falling through the cracks into homelessness, addictions and substance abuse and a myriad of other problems because when they are unable to work, their government turns its back on them by making it difficult to be approve for benefits.
Most hard working Americans want nothing more to continue to be productive and work. They realize that the meager pittance that SSDI allots is no where near the amount of compensation from a hard earned salary.
Now, SSDI has become a litigious affair like so many other systems that at one time only require and pen and an application form.
We, the undersigned, request the United States government and the Social Security Administrations to discontinue its practice of denying applicants and requiring individuals to hire attorneys to represents them in order to receive benefits that they are entitled to without delay.
