Background (Preamble):
Pedestrians who walk along the busy A63 from Melton towards South Hunsley School have no protection from the traffic in the form of Crash Barriers.
The passing cars can travel at speeds of up to 70mph and as the main road into the city of Hull from the west, these barriers should be in place.
We are four boys aged 10 trying to get something done for our community. If we can see the danger why can't our council?

We the undersigned call on the East Riding of Yorkshire County Council and The Highways Agency to install safety barriers along the Eastbound stretch of the A63 between Melton and South Hunsley School.
