Tony Orlando and Dawn were founded in 1970 in New York, NY. The group pioneered their unique sound of crossing Pop/Rock/Bubblegum with R&B and Soulful Sounds. The group is eternally connected to veterans of war coming home with their "Signature Iconic Song", "Tie A Yellow Ribbon 'Round The Ole Oak Tree". The group consists of Tony Orlando, Joyce Vincent, Pam Vincent, and Telma Hopkins. Pam Vincent was heard on all of the group's recordings, and did the vocal arrangements for the group. Pam also appeared with the group on tour. The group was always billed as a Trio with Tony Orlando, Telma Hopkins, and Joyce Vincent.

They were great 1970's Icons, and also appeared as spokesperson's on the US Government "You Can Be More Than You Are" careers campaign. They have, and continue to inspire millions to date, and are "Role Models" for our youths. The legendary Iconic group were also given their own variety TV show which aired on the CBS Network from 1974 through 1977.

The groups top charted hits include the globally recognized popular songs: "Candida", "Knock Three Times", "Tie A Yellow Ribbon 'Round The Ole Oak Tree", "Sweet Gypsy Rose", "Mornin' Beautiful", and "He Don't Love You, Like I Love You".

Tony Orlando & Dawn's unique "Pop and Soulful" sound was responsible for the group's overall appeal to everyone, and has made them a "True American Treasure" .
