Pesticides are used to prevent, destroy, repel or mitigate any pest that puts a crop in danger. The problem is, that the use up pesticides puts us in danger.
EPA licenses pesticides for use in accordance with label directions, based on review of scientific studies on the pesticide to determine that it will not pose unreasonable risks to human health or the environment. Hoever, there are still risks. I feel that the EPA could do more then they curently are for everyones safety. Check out the EPA's website and decide for yourself!
We feel that the EPA is not doing enough to regulate pesticides. More research and laws are needed to increase the safety of the general public.
