We are a group of people from LaSalle, Caldwell and Winn Parish's in Central Louisiana who strongly oppose the construction and maintenance of deer-proof high fences thus eliminating and hindering the hunting rights of surrounding land owners. Our property has been surrounded by a high fence thus causing a void in the presence of deer on our property.

The construction of the high fence is continually causing a considerable amount of damage to the eco system. Tarps have been constructed over all waterways in which the high fence crosses causing a disturbance in the natural flow of the waterways, flooding and erosion as well as killing trees on the surrounding properties.

We, the undersigned citizens of the State of Louisiana, object to the conduct of Six C Properties, LLC in its construction and maintenance of its deer-proof fence surrounding its approximately 55,000 acres situated in the Parishes of Winn, LaSalle and Caldwell.

The native wildlife located in the State of Louisiana is owned by the State, in trust for the benefit of all the citizens of the State. With this fence, Six C Properties, LLC has effectively converted much of the native wildlife, including white tailed deer, to the use of its members and guest to the exclusion of the citizens of the State.

If every landowner in the State was permitted such a fence, the wildlife of the State would suffer and the enjoyment thereof by citizens would be eliminated.

The fence, therefore, should be removed.
