My petition is aimed at activists who focus their attention on domesticated/farm animals, not the ones who try and protect wild and endangered animals.
My argument is this, domesticated animals are bred purely to be eaten by us, I personally believe these activists who campaign for better "conditions" for such animals should GET A LIFE!
While all animals have rights, the rights of animals are NOT greater than those of a human being under ANY circumstance. I do not see how it can be argued otherwise.
The time, effort and money spent on campaigning for farm animals could be better spent on more worthwile causes such as the homeless and disadvantaged members of our society.
Rather than try and create a stupid fantasy world, such people should take a long hard look at themselves, firstly we need to eat, secondly, if you have a problem with animal products; fine. Dont buy them, leave the manufacturers and everyone else alone and go on with your life.
We, the undersigned, call on every government in every country as well as all reasonably intelligent persons;
1. Acknowledge that disadvantaged members of the community are of greater importance than domesticated animals.
2. Time, effort and money spent campaigning for farm animals would be better spent by helping out such people in our community.
