I am a student who attends Poole Grammar School and frankly like 98.9% of English students I have just about had enough of homework. I have recently searched many resources on this matter and all lead to the same consequences that homework gives to the youth.
These things include: shortening life spans (This is apparent when a student is set too much homework on one night and has to go to a social club now he/she has two options do the homework, revising topics done today which is quite pointless unless the student has a medical problem with their memory or they can go to the social club therefore improving their social skills and preparing them more for later life then any homework can do).
Myself and a few teachers and at least 5 classes call upon the Government to abolish homework as it is slowly killing away the youth which is the very foundation of any society and substantially increasing how much more boring all schools are becoming which lead to students not wanting to learn and therefore leads to poor grades which lead to a untalented country.
