We believe that the quality and character of our community is being compromised with the building of a two story commercial type metal building located on the corner lot at 155 Willow Drive in Lovelock, Nevada.

We believe that the city council members were not given full and adequate information when approving this project in the subdivision and that it is irresponsible for the City Council to approve this project that neither protects nor enhances the property values of existing homes in the subdivision.

To the best of our knowledge we believe the City Council approved the permit under the assumption that it was a wooden structure garage. No information stating that it was a metal building and that the upper level would be a residence was given by the Building Department or the Homeowners until after we brought it to the attention of the City Council at the meeting held on October 21, 2014.

We also believe that as a neighborhood we should have been notified of the construction of said building and had the opportunity to give our opinion or concerns.

Residents of the Meadow Estates subdivision have chosen to live in this area because of the quality of homes and lifestyle. We believe this new building disrupts the integrity of the community by having the ground level as a garage and possible business for restoring cars. The upper level is a planned residence. When given the permit none of this information was given to the City Council. The original permit was given as a wooden structure garage. We believe that none of the CCR's in this neighborhood which is zoned as Single-Family Residence were taken into consideration when given this permit.

WE ask that the City Council, Building Dept., Legal Council for such, pull the permit until a thorough review is made of the plans and the City Council has been fully informed of the plans and make a more educated decision.

We the undersigned ask that the permit for the building at 155 Willow Drive Lovelock, Nevada be pulled and building halted until the City Council, Legal Council, Building Dept., City Mayor, Planning Commission, and homeowners can review complete and adequate plans of the building and discuss if the building is proper for this subdivision.

We also request that if a decision on this cannot be agreed upon it is taken before the District Judge to make a decision.
