The green space of Hillcrest Farms currently has small playgrounds. The green space located on 48th Street between Mund and Marion also has a covered picnic area, but the land remains largely undeveloped.
As homeowners in Hillcrest Farms we would like to see this area further developed with a multi-use sport court to provide a safe surface that adapts to multiple sports and protects against injuries and offers years of enjoyment for our families as they grow.
We, the undersigned, call on the Hillcrest Farms Homeowner's Association to approve the construction of a multi-use sport court on the green space located on 48th Street between the streets of Mund and Marion.
The multi-use sport court would be located south of the play structure and east of the sidewalk to provide best use of the space. There would be no outdoor lighting out of respect for the neighboring homeowners.
The court itself would require each home owner to pay a one time fee of approximately $60. There would be little or no cost of maintenance.
