Wellington inner harbour is polluted with faecal contamination. last year diving platform was closed because the pollution made it a health risk.
The water is probably contaminated because of a broken stormwater pipe. The Wellington City Council promised to fix the issue but it has not been done.
Many people are affected by this such as: Swimmers, Divers and Rowers because they cannot swim in good water.
We the undersigned call on the Wellington City Council to urgently fix the drainage problem that is affecting the water quality of the inner city harbour.
