KACCSNET (Kajiado County Children Stakeholders Network) Is a Network NGO, Non Profit Making, formed in partnership with Non-Governmental Organizations, Faith Based Organizations, and Community Based Organizations in Kajiado County.
In Mid-2013 and Early 2014 Kenya Alliance for Advancement of Childrens Rights (KAACR) conducted several Capacity building trainings to CSO in Kajiado County. During the last capacity training by KAACR, in mid-2014, the representative of the cso found need to form an Umbrella Organization with One Voice to coordinate Child focused Activities for greater Results in Addressing Issues affecting the Children in Kajiado County, In late 2014 CHIVNET was formed, but didn’t go far for reasons of posting irrelevant information to the whatsapps page which the groups opened, as one way of sharing and updating information to each other, because of that hitch, the Name was Changed to Kaccsnet, and a new whatsapp and fb pages were opened, clear instruction to members on what should be posted to the pages.
Kaccsnet started inviting its members for a forth coming activity planning meetings in early 2015. Kaccsnet is working closely with National Government, and County Government. The Organization so far has mobilized for 2 Big Events, Zero Tolerance to Fgm, and the Day of Africa Child. Currently it's planning for an Activity for the last day of 16 days of Activism.
Memorandum agreement, which will state that any law enforcer in the grassroot to the higher cadre level in County Government administration, where a case of early marriage/FGM is reported at his area of jurisdiction, that person is liable to heavy punishment in the court of law.
