I am being discriminated (treated differently and unequally as everyone else in our society) on the basis of disability (the fact I was hurt/injured on the job, doing my job duties as assigned, and with the equipment my employer provided) by my employer of 16 years. I was injured on the job. After I recuperated, to my maximum recovery, I requested reasonable and individual accommodation in the workplace from my employer at that time and since. My employer made changes in the workplace after I and another co-coworker was hurt.

I want to work, and simply my employer will not allow me to even try the new equipment and the job duty schedule. I am highly educated, skilled and experienced. Should I be given the equal opportunity as everyone else in my workplace to work and belong? Or will I forever be banned from my workplace because I'm different, disabled, abnormal, and have permanent impairments?

I have not asked for anything more than my co-workers already enjoy. For most people, an injury or long term illness means isolation, pain, rejection, criticism, judgment, and poverty by society. Statics show actual fraud amounts to less than 2% for workplace injuries by workers. Medicine has come along way with imaging, MRI's and CAT scans etcetera to prove injury in the past 20 years.

We, the people, want equality, safe working conditions, and acceptance in the workplace regardless of past injury, health or medical conditions. Please sign and support my efforts to work and belong in our society.
