My son who was diagnosed with DT1 recently is currently under insulin dependence, regularly monitors his BGL.
As a mother, my concern is to make sure that his condition will always be under control.
Due to his condition he will be life dependence with medication, diabetes kits etc. To enable to manage this properly, I would like to ask or petition for a Health Care Card for Life.
We call on Medicare to grant all the DT1 sufferers a health Card for Life to enable them to manage this illness easier.
