Under Part 5 (Powers of the Parliament) of the Australian Constitution Paragraph 51, Legislative Powers of The Parliament, leading preamble, quote "The Parliament shall, subject to this Constitution, have power to make laws for the peace, order, and GOOD GOVERNMENT of the Commonwealth with respect to etc etc.
We, the undersigned, call on the Prime Minister of Australia to take note of the preamble to this petition.
You are charged, under your Commission, and by the Constitution of Australia, to provide good government (note Part 5 of the Constitution), and it would appear that this is not happening, to the detriment of the eligible voters of Australia.
We note the lack of protection of our borders, we note the fall in our living standards, we note the continuing ignorance regarding the pensions of our retired diggers.
We also note the $250,000,000 given to Afghanistan while our unemployed and pensioners are living on the bread line. Where is it going to stop. We note also that you are either a liar or incompetent in regard to the introduction of the Carbon Tax.
If you knew about it before the last election, then you lied, if you did not know about it before the last election then you are incompetent. I repeat, you are charged by your Commission to provide Good Government, where is it? At the very least, you should allow the Australian people to judge you by calling an election.
