It has always been a senior's right to paint the cannon.
Painting the cannon for a friend's birthday has been a ransom tradition for decades. It is unfair and unfounded to revoke this right from the class of 2016 and future classes. We've got a group of people who' have volunteered to spray paint the cannon for each senior's birthday, that way everyone is includEd.
The reality of the situation is that every single student in our class has a friend who could paint for them, and even if no one could, the volunteers would.
This petition asks that our right and senior privilege to paint the cannon for birthdays be reinstated.
