Our students are having a hard time with EOG testing, which also effects not just the students but the parents. With the economic times that the children have to deal with, they are also dealing with a test that makes no sense.
All through the school term, they have to deal with not only school work that seems to be piling up each year, but also dealing with a test that seems to make them nervious by the end of the school term. Many times I've spoke to parents who see their children nervious, made sick and right down do not want to go to school for this fact. Who is this benefitting more?
Please help our students to enjoy school and as it has been said? No Child left behind, this test has cost bundles when we could be helping our children it making it better to enjoy school. Than seeing them drop out. This is not only happening in NC, it's also happening in other cities and counties.
Please if this is something that your going through, and understand to help out our children. Let's get rid of a test that determines the whole school year.
