To whom this may concern,

My name is Lester B. Lynch, Jr. and I'm a victim of a 'wrongful conviction'. I was just the average working man who supported his wife and four kids. I had no criminal history and had plans to go back to school to further my education, but one day, all of that changed when I was contacted by some detectives who strongly suggested that I come down to the Norfolk Police Operations Center and talk to them about an associate of mine (who remained un-named at the time), that was allegedly involved ina homicide, and when I had assured them that I had no idea of who or what they were speaking of, they revealed the name(Gregory Williams), and again, suggested that I come down and talk to them about the incident. I told them that I had no knowledge of my associate being involved in any such incident, and ~-= --ED~ haca~e angry and-demandee-t~ I come to the stat~on, and hung up.

I was afraid, so I called the attorney handling a civil suit for me, and told him about my encounter with the detectives, and he advised me against going to see them, if I truly knew nothing of the incident. So I took his advice, but I called and talked to Det. Ford to get down to the bottom of all the harassment, and they inquired my assistance as a witness against my associate, his brother, and a man that I've never met before (Kenneth"K.P."Parker), because they were all named as suspects by one of the surviving victims, and once again, I told them that I could not assist them, because I knew nothing af the crime in question, yet, Ford still wanted me as a witness.

I declined and refused to get involved, and in his anger,he threatened to issue a warrant for my arrest, if I didn't co-operate. So I stood firm, and the next thing I knew is that my face is on "Crime-Line","Wanted for Murder", and now, here I am,convicted of First Degree Murder, Robbery, Statutory Burglary, and three Fire-arm charges, with a sentenced of 68yrs. to serve in prison, all for choosing to do the "right-thing". Since I had refused to assume the identity as a witness, somehow, the detective persuaded the third suspect to become a witness for the state and granted him 'immunity', to testify against my associate, his brother (Chris) was dismissed as a suspect,~ t~a~libi~and _ me,as the aaded suspect,to replace one of the initially named suspects by Scott. The two surviving victims (R.Scott, Tamika Reid) were sornehow ccnvrnc ed or co-erced to id me as one of the suspect but their~inconsistencies in their testimonies reveal their unsurety of the actual suspects' identity.

There were three jury trials, two of which had hung-juries, due to insufficient evidence to convict me. In October of 2010, Det.Robert Glenn Ford was tried and convicted for Extortion, Conspiracy and for Making False Statement to the FBI. He was sentenced to serve 12.5yrs. in a federal prison His conduct in past criminal cases and methods of obtaining convictions, especially concerning his 200+ murder case conviction are under question and close scrutiny. These can be reviewed at tim.mcglone@pilotonline.com, by Virginia Pilot's own, Tim McGlone, and also at WAVY/Associated Press, by ·Brock Ver~akis. II and my family need your help to reveal the injustice' that's been afflicted upon us, to help an innocen'~ man win back what was lost. His family and his freedom.

Please help! S~ncerely,
