How long does it take to get over the Woodhead Pass? No idea? Well that all depends on weather or not you get stuck behind a convoy of slow moving HGV's.
There is absotulty no reson for then to be there; all they do is use more fuel accelerating and decelerating for the corners and hill that it would if they used the motorway and selfishly hold up every other road user trying to get a cross it.
It is 50Mph limit but your lucky to do 30 with an HGV in front of you. Why should we all have to put an extra hour on to our journey just so some lazy lorry driver can save 5 mins on his?
Save the countryside and half your journey time GET HGV'S OFF THE WOODHEAD PASS NOW!
People please sign this and take action to free the Woodhead Pass of HGV's that ruin the road because obstrutions and put a silly amount of time onto others' journeys.
Everybody that uses this road complains about it but nobody does anything.
There's to reson for them to use this road. In fact it would be cheaper in fuel if they used the motorways.
Rid the pass of the inconsiderate truckers.
