Free parking is on the way out in Central Milton Keynes (CMK). Milton Keynes Council will be introducing a 25p per hour rate for free spaces, raising standard rate from 25p to 35p and premium rate from £1 to £1.20.
Many employees in CMK awake early in the morning to avoid charges for parking for work. If this is implemented we could be paying up to £7 per day!
