Background (Preamble):
Nasratollah Tajik is a diplomat detained in Britain who is to be extradited to the United States.
Petition:
This petition is a protest against the unjust detention of Nasratollah Tajik for the purchase of night vision goggles.
There is no basis on which to extradite Tajik to American officials, who have recently been accused of torturing abducted Iranian diplomat Jalal Sharafi.
Sharafi's torture wounds included drill wounds which were verified as occuring during the time of his detention by the international red cross.
The alleged purchase of night vision goggles does not justify Tajik's treatment and we the defenders of human rights and international law deplore the heinous plans for Nasratollah Tajik and call for his release.
