Although strategies for economic development are being developed, their implementation can’t come strictly from city hall, said Mayor Terry Lutz.
During the presentation, Lutz asked attendees who paid more than $2,000 in property taxes to raise their hands.
“Council members are being influenced by people who are paying less than $2,000 a year,” Lutz said, making reference to what he referred to as the “CAVE” people — Citizens Against Virtually Everything — who regularly attend council meetings.
Over the next six months, council members will be making some big decisions, Lutz said.
“Get your voices heard,” he said. “Get behind the council people. Show up at council meetings if you can. They need your support.”
We need a new Mayor and if you feel that Mayor Lutz is not working for all the people of Fort Dodge please sign this petition so we can show our city government what we the people of this town want.
If you feel we deserve equal treatment no matter how much we earn or how much we pay in taxes please sign and make the city council know we deserve the same respect they think they deserve.
