Fanzones for Manchester

The petition is closed as the Manchester authorities have done the decent thing and confirmed that fanzones, complete with big screens, will be provided for ticketless fans. A big thanks to them and a bigger thanks to all of you for taking the time to sign. See you in Manchester - WE'RE HAVING A PARTY!
We, the undersigned, call on Manchester City Council, Greater Manchester Police and UEFA to recognise that many Rangers fans will be travelling to Manchester for the UEFA Cup Final 2008 without tickets and that fanzones should be set up to accommodate their wish to see the game and party in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere.
