Fair Trial for Our Boys Abroad
Result:
On Friday 16th October 2009, David Birkinshaw and Matthew Neale were cleared by a Latvian court. They can now continue their lives. The petition highlighted their plight and pressed the Latvian authorities to ensure the two men from Derby got a fair trial. Thank you to everyone who signed the petition for their help.
We, the undersigned, respectfully petition the Latvian Government to ensure that David Birkinshaw and Matthew Neale receive a fair trial, are well treated and are brought back to the United Kingdom as soon as their trial is over.
