Members of PCS, the Public and Commercial Services union (PCS) and Unite, employed by Fujitsu are campaigning for a fair pay rise that properly awards them for their hard work and contribution to the company's success.

IT staff are working on contracts Fujitsu Services holds for government departments including HM Revenue and Customs, Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, the Ministry of Defence, the Home Office, the Office and National Statistics and the UK Border Agency.

The company has received massive payments, funded by the taxpayer, for successfully meeting targets on these lucrative contracts. However, whilst some managers have been in receipt of bonuses in excess of £14,000 (equivalent to the annual salary of some of our members), the hardworking staff who are responsible for the company's success have received no bonus and are being told they can only receive pay rises between 1.5% and 2.5%.

We the undersigned urge Duncan Tait, the chief executive officer of Fujitsu UK and Ireland, to give staff working on government contracts a fair pay rise that keeps up with the cost of living.

The Fair pay for Fujitsu workers petition to Fujitsu UK and Ireland was written by James Davies and is in the category Employment at GoPetition.
