We, the citizens, petition to the city to extend a public transportation route out to Fairdale KY.
There are schools and businesses that citizens cannot get to safely. The last stop coming from National Turnpike is at Glengarry Dr. The last stop coming from New Cut Rd is at Outer Loop, which means anyone needing to get to Fairdale High School, Family Health Center, South Park Tapp, The Neighborhood Place, and or Fanatics will have to walk at least 3 to 10 miles to get to these locations.
During this commute cars are driven at an excessive speed, and there aren’t any sidewalks for pedestrians. It just isn’t safe. Some people rely on public transportation.
We, the undersigned, petition for one of these routes to become extended for the safety of our students, employees, and employers.
