We, the undersigned, call on the State of Missouri, to put an end to personal property tax that is charged on each individual, in each county, in the state of Missouri.

We ask that this issue be put to a vote by each registered citizen of this state, and its results be final as a decision by the people for the people.

We ask that no other filing or pleading be attached to our petition, and that it be voted on by its own merit, and if the vote is in favor of our petition, that the personal property tax be eliminated permanently with no new tax being created in its replacement.
