End Human Rights Violations in Tibet

Background (Preamble):
For the last 50 years, Tibetans have been tortured and imprisoned by the Chinese. Many have fled their country to save their lives. In order to destroy the Tibetan culture, the Chinese are systematically aborting Tibetan children and sterilizing Tibetan women. 60% of the population of Tibet is ethnic Chinese. The killing will not end until the Tibetans are completely destroyed. Do not let this happen. Please help.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, request that economic and political pressure be placed on the People's Republic of China to the extent that the Tibetan people are allowed to regain sovereignty over their lives and country. We also request that Tibet be recognized as an independent nation and not an associated province of China.
