End Genetic Animal Mutations

Daily tests are being initiated on a wide variety of defenseless animals. Tests that often we wouldn't dare try on our fellow man. Some examples of these tests would be splicing genes to create new species, replacing a part of an animal's DNA strand to change the overall outcome of the creature's structure, and even injecting chemicals into their skin to change the pigmentation in it for our own research. Such research has been going on for quite a few years now, each day the experiments grow more detailed and often more health-hazardous to the specimen that they are using to test it on.

A more recently shown example of the modern-day tests was one that was performed just on the everyday white mouse. By merely doing some minor adjustments involving tissues in the mouse and human body scientists were able to successfully "grow" an ear out of a hairless rodent's back. This attracted much awe, seeing as a person was able to successfully replicate a human limb onto another creature.

It also shows just how frivolous scientists were with that particular test. It wasn't truly necessary and all it ended up doing was exploiting an innocent creature. Another example of such cruel and unusual experimentation used on the earth's creatures was the production of a "bald" chicken. In an attempt to lower the cost of the distribution of meat products there was a project that was unfortunately successful.

Genetically altered chickens were created that lacked the particular part of their molecular structure that brought about the growth of their feathers. The result of these experiments might have in fact lowered the costs as they had intended, but more than likely made the lives of these animals less than pleasurable.

Many other experiments of these kinds, and some that many may not even have imagined, are still going on at this very moment.
