Enclosed exercise areas should be available to all dog owners in parks to allow their dogs to run free and learn to socialise in a controlled eveironment.
This will also keep the parks cleaner and safer for the general public who are not dog owners, who are frightened, frail or have children.
We, the undersigned, believe that Thanet District Council should provide enclosed dog exercise areas in all of Thanet's parks to allow dogs to be able to Be exercised in controlled environment, that will in turn keep the public areas cleaner and safer for other park users.
We also believe it is important for dogs to socialise to make them comfortable around other dogs and reduce aggression.
