Eliminate the Non-smoking ban in Missouri

Published by Sharon Wendel on Nov 04, 2009

Grass Roots Campaign Petition to Lift Smoking Ban:

We, the undersigned, call on St. Louis Mayor, F. Slay, and Mr. J. Nixon, Governor of Missouri, to eliminate the Non-smoking ban due to go into effect.

We can understand changes being made, but we ask that the smoking ban be tweaked to accommodate all of the St Louis Residents City and County. We are not monsters or diseased because we smoke. We should be able to keep smoking in our predetermined smoking areas.

We do not discriminate against non-smokers for making smokers tolerate in humane conditions to smoke a cigarette OUTSIDE 'if allowed at all' and we expect the same respect and demand the same respect.

I/We personally do not spend money or eat in Restaurants/Bars that forbid smoking. These actions will hurt the local economy as I/We will not go out and Eat / Drink in bars that are forced to adhere to this ban. This act alone will reduce the revenue collected from Sales Tax on Food/Liquor Sales.
