When I believe in something or someone, I give it my all. Recently, it was reported that Cung Le, MMA Champion, Action Star and Choreographer, was being considered for a role in the upcoming Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon II: Green Destiny production. However, it has now been reported that he will not be appearing in the film.
I petition the powers to be to reconsider casting Cung Le in this film. Please reopen negotiations. Whatever scheduling or budget concerns that prevent him from being in the film, please work to resolve them. Please do not underestimate Cung Le’s popularity and the great performance he will bring to this historic film.
There are very few guarantees in life. But I know that Cung Le will deliver a performance that audiences will forever remember. Just like his performance in Bodyguards and Assassins. Fans have been waiting for another epic matchup between him and Donnie Yen for years. Why would you want to miss the opportunity to capitalize on such a matchup now?
Please take to heart my request. Everything in my being says he needs to be in this film. With him joining an all-star cast that includes Donnie Yen, Michelle Yeoh, Jason Scott Lee and the others, his impact on the film is going to be amazing and unbelievable. You can’t lose by casting Cung Le.
