Hi my name is Phil Pike and i live on shepherd street. I and some other residents around Millfield have noticed over the past one to two years the rise of Anti-Social behaviour and the neglect by the local council of our Diamond Hall Pocket Park, and it is all of ours.
I and other residents have become increasingly frustrated and have decided to stop moaning about it and be pro active in doing something about it! But for us to make some changes we need as much support from yourselves as we can get.
We held a meeting with Cllr Paul Dixon on Friday 4th July to put forward our concerns and he fully supported our case, if you really want to make a difference then please could you sign and return the form and if you do have more time attend any meetings which will be advertised over the next week.
Thank you very much for your time, together we can make Millfield a much nicer and safer place to live for everybody.
We the undersigned, call on our local council to tackle Anti Social Behaviour in and around the Millfield area and to provide us with a clean and safe park to take our families and pets.
1. To provide litter bins for the Park.
2. To Take responsibility for the CCTV in the park.
3. To provide adequate dog waste bins.
4. To have regular warden patrols.
5. To provide a clean and safe area for young families.
6. To maintain the park on a regular basis (including emptying of bins, cutting of grass, cleaning of broken glass.
7. To provide an alternative provision for the young dissafected people of Millfield.
