In late 2011, a parcel of property valued at over $900,000.00 was donated to the town of Section for the purpose of a recreational park for local citizens and visitors.
While much work has been done on the property, much remains to be done - public restrooms are a must.
Among suggestions for the park: concerts, arts and crafts shows, walking track, hiking trail, farmers market for local farmers to sell produce raised in Jackson County. Your suggestions are welcome.
