The Canadian Ambassador to Ireland Mr Kevin Vickers in plain view of the public tackled and assaulted an Irish citizen who was exercising his rights to peaceful protest and his right to speak freely in his own country. If Mr. Vickers committed such an offence in his own country he would be arrested under sections 7, 8, and 9 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
