Target: The 24 Electors of Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass
Background (Preamble):
In spite of his shall we say unconventional off court behavior, Dennis Keith Rodman, deserves induction in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
A five time NBA championship team member, 5 times, twice with the Pistons, three times with the Bulls, including the Bulls team which won a record 72 out of 82 regular season games.
Rodman has an NBA record seven (7) consecutive rebounding titles. As a 6 foot 8 power foward often snatching the ball away from another player with a hieght advantage over him.
Rodman also was able to corral 24% of the missed shots into rebounds when he played....the best all time since the stat was introduced in 1971.
The Worm is also one of the few players in NBA history to win the Defensive Player of the Year award twice. Was a member of the All Defensive Team seven (7) times and five consecutive seasons.
Critics would say he was not good enough offensively but he also once one the trophy for the leagues best field goal percentage.

To the electors of the Basketball Hall of Fame, Dennis Rodman's induction is endorsed by Hall of Famers: Isiah Thomas, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, as well as future HOFer Scottie Pippen.
There are and will be low post enshrinees with less career rebounds Moses Malone and Hakeem Olajuwon, and Charles Barkley have less career rebounds, Moses and Hakeem were taller then The Worm.
The Electors of the Hall of Fame should elect one of the best players of the 1990's to the membership.
