Dudley Hippodrome was a live venue between 1938 and 1974 and closed as a bingo hall in 2009. Once the UK's most modern variety theatre.
Local hipsters, in search of a false sense of nostalgia are trying to save an eyesore of a building on the gateway to Dudley.
The building is past its best, their business plan is plucked out of thin air - at best, but they insist on filling the pages of the local paper with their constant drivel.
The Demolish Dudley Hippodrome Group are the nemesis of the Save the Dudley Hippodrome group, our intention is for the building to demolished as soon as possible.
We are "well up" for the proposal to demolish Dudley Hippodrome and do not support the notion of the return of live theatre.
