Armadillo Terry is the official tour blogger and road reporter for 80's heavy metal band Twisted Sister. He is known all over the world as the "voice of the fan", and has toured the globe, given interviews and even performed Storytelling under the name "Armadillo Terry." Facebook has frozen his account, stating that Armadillo is not his legal name because he could not produce a government identification.
This has prevented fans and readers from locating his facebook page, which he uses to stay in touch with fans in more than 20 countries, all of whom only know him as "Armadillo Terry."
Please help Armadillo Terry get his facebook account back! It contains years and years of video footage, blog entries and photos that are a part of the Armadillo Road Report: The Official Twisted Sister Tour Blog.
The facebook practice of demanding only legal birth names be used can be a risk to people with stalkers (Armadillo Terry actually has one!) and can be dangerous to those who have legitimate, safety reasons for not using a legal name.
SAVE ARMADILLO TERRY! Demand that Facebook focus on real issues that matter and allow people who are legitimately and appropriately using facebook to continue using the name they are known by.
We, the undersigned, ask Facebook to immediately re-instate and unlock Armadillo Terry's facebook account and allow him to continue to use the name that fans and readers all over the world know him by: ARMADILLO TERRY.
We also ask that Facebook discontinue the practice of requiring only legal birth names to be used when there are circumstances that can pose legitimate safety risks to some individuals.
