The inopportune timing of the kathak exams in the institutes across the USA is causing widespread anxiety, tumult and discontent amongst the dance students and their parents.
Having worked hard all year to accomplish a certain level of achievement, and then not having the opportunity to get this tested and evaluated, so their efforts may be recognized, is not sitting well amongst the patrons of the dance learning community.
We need your help in collecting as many e-signatures as possible to present to the Pracheen Kala Kendra and impress upon them the importance of changing the extremely inconvenient dates. As it stands now, the date falls on December 29 during the winter break, when most families have annual trips /events planned a year/s in advance.

We, the undersigned concerned parents and patrons of current kathak dance students, call on the Pracheen Kala Kendra to :
Imminently change the dates of the dance evaluation, so that they better suit the education curriculum of the USA and garner maximum participation of the students. New Proposed Date: Saturday January 19, 2013.
