Petition Background (Preamble):
Limit the number of cats allowed per household to three. Make cat owners be responsible for the damage their cats do to property other than their own. Make cat owners resposible for the cleanup of any destruction or damage their cat causes on another persons property. Give citizens the right to remove unwanted cats from their property in a humane manner. Give private citizens the right to find permanant homes for any unclaimed or stray cats when ownership is denied.
Petition:
We would like to limit overcrowding of cats in neighborhoods, and make owners abide by the same regulations dog owners have to abide by. Allow citizens to remove and find permanant homes for any unclaimed or denied cats found on their own property.
