The residents of the Lakes community see that the soccer field has gotten minor use since the inception of the community.
Half of the field is primarily used for birthday parties and other such events. Members of the community believe that the other half of the space could have a better use in the community.
We would like to propose converting the half of the soccer field furthest away from the pool and playground into a sports court containing tennis/basketball courts with lights.
We the residents of The Lakes community would like to petition the board to include in the next budget a proposal to convert half of the soccer field into tennis/basketball courts with lights to better utilize the space and bring the community closer together.
