Tired of spending hours and money doing your taxes? I have the solution. Make it a law that all congressmen have to do their own taxes. This doesn't mean hiring someone, it means in a room by themselves and doing the tax return and submitting it to the IRS.
Make it against the law for someone else to do them, punishable by prison time. I believe we'd end up with a simpler system in a year.
