I have written several times and made calls to Wetherspoons regarding the poor state of ales and beers when they are actually in stock! I have also complained about the virtually inedible food. I have replies to my letters as evidence of this.
The Elizabeth of York in Moseley Birmingham has deteriorated considerably in recent years. As you will have witnessed they frequently run out of many popular ales and beers and take ages to restock. The food is total rubbish particularly the curries which are sometimes not as advertised and if it contains chicken, 50% of it is as hard as nails.
The plates are sometimes cold-making the food cold very quickly. Also the pub is in urgent need of refurbishment which has not been done for a very long time. I appreciate your signing this petition to show a strength of the people who spend their hard earned money at this shabby little pub!
