Asante Apartment Homes, formerly Woodland City, have got to go!
As residents, we are stuck dealing with an overwhelming infestation of pests, mold, incompetent management, lack of maintenance repairs, structural damage, and an owner who is currently being prosecuted by the Dallas City Attorney for failure to maintain a proper working facility and for failing to keep the units up to health codes.
The complex is also overrun by violent criminal activity, making it an unsafe place to live.
We deserve better! Being low income shouldn't mean we are forced to live in places like this!
This complex is beyond repair, and poses several health and safety issues for all the residents. Enough is enough!
We, the undersigned, call on the Texas Attorney General to shut down Asante Apartment Homes and give us a better option!
No one should be subjected to the living conditions that we currently face!
Help us make a statement to other "slum lords" that we will not stand for this!
